Construct a mug from slabs of clay
Service Description
In this course, students will construct a mug using basic shapes cut from slabs of clay. Students will be instructed on how to adjust the height and width of their pieces, how to join two pieces of clay together, and how to smooth and shape their final form. To book your spot, simply pick the date / time that works best for you. At the end of the course, students will have the choice to either paint designs of their choice with studio painting glazes, or to have their piece dipped in a solid studio glaze. All pieces will be ready for pick up approx. 4 weeks after class. Pieces will be fully functional (non toxic, food / liquid safe, microwave safe) Please keep in mind, this class is capped at 4 people. If you and a friend want to take class, please be aware there could be another duo with you as well :). If you would like to reserve a private class for just you and your party, please contact me.

Cancellation Policy
WHEN YOU BOOK A CLASS AT LETTER CAT, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS: - If you arrive later than 10 minutes to class, the door will be locked and you will be asked to reschedule. The first 10 minutes are the most important. Please be respectful to the other participants and the instructor's time and arrive on time. - 100% refunds will be given on a very limited basis (think illness diagnosis, limb amputation, house fire, etc). - If you need to cancel a class, please contact me BEFORE your scheduled class. You will either be offered a chance to reschedule, OR receive a 50% refund. - NO REFUND will be given to no calls / no shows, but you will be offered a chance to reschedule. - If your piece did not turn out the exact way you were expecting (a glaze mishap, a chip, a small crack), you will be offered a coupon to come back to the studio for a % off. The coupon will coincide with the level of "oops". - If you want to take a class with a group, and see there is only 1 spot left, book it, and then decide you do not want to take the class because there are no spots for your friends, you will not get a refund. If you do not understand or are confused, please call before you book to clarify. BOOKING: Please note, if you’re unable to select the number of participants for a class, that means there aren't enough seats available for you to book. Example: Our classes have 6 total spots and 5 have already been booked, you’ll only be able to select up to 1 participant. If all 6 spots are taken, the option to add participants will no longer appear. Tip: Try to book your full party at once to ensure you have enough seats! Need more than 6 seats?
