I want to try clay, but I have no artistic ability! Should I still try it?
ABSOLUTELY! Handbuilding with clay can appeal to many parts of the brain. The process itself is slow, meticulous, and angular, but still allows for degrees of freedom with decorative add ons, artistic flairs, and more. You do not have to be a "fine artist" to be able to make a functional piece from clay.
How long does it take to get my piece back?
Current turnaround time for pieces is ~3 weeks.

If you need something sooner, please communicate that with Emma and she can *most likely* meet your deadline with proper heads up.
Is my piece going to be food safe?
YES. All glazes used at LetterCatStudio are food safe, liquid safe, and non toxic. ​
Hand wash highly recommended for all pieces.

Should I wear anything special?
Do you have membership options? What are the differenes between the two?
Yes, LetterCatStudio has 2 membership options - the Monthly Clay Club, and an At Home Membership. Clay Club meets weekly for fun projects. At Home members get to create in their own space, and utilize LCS for firing, speciality tools, glaze use, and more.

Comfortable clothing you do not mind getting a bit messy in is recommended. Clay will NOT stain or ruin your clothing, but chances are, you will wear some home :) It is also helpful to have long hair tied up or held back, rings / bracelets / watches removed, long necklaces avoided, etc.
