LetterCat Studio is looking at a building in the Hyde Park neighborhood, and I want to know your thoughts!
The building I am looking at is at the corner of Troost and 43rd, in the heart of the Hyde Park / Manheim Park neighborhood. It is within 2 blocks of Oddly Correct, Anchor Island Coffee, and Equal Minded Café.

WHY AM I CONSIDERING THIS? WHAT DOES THIS LOCATION HAVE THAT MY CURRENT CROSSROADS STUDIO DOES NOT?

Very good question! If you have visited my studio in the Crossroads, you may remember, I rent a small room out of a bigger studio space. While I absolutely love the location of my current studio, it does prove some challenges and is not a long term solution if I want Letter Cat to grow and thrive.
Since I do not rent the whole building, I am not able to offer studio memberships, nor do I have the space for pottery wheels. The location off Troost would allow me to offer memberships with 24/7 access, and would allow me to have the space for wheels to start teaching wheel classes. There also is space for kilns INSIDE the studio, which would be a monumental game changer as right now, I am transporting pieces from my studio to my kiln about 10 minutes away.
The location has it's own parking lot (!!!!), has a private restroom, and is within walking distance to 3 cafes and coffee shops. The building's neighbors include a nail salon, a hair salon, and an ice cream shop. The building is situated in between the Hyde Park and Manheim Park neighborhoods, and is about 6 minutes away from midtown, and about 8 minutes away from my current location in the Crossroads.

Without the support of the community, my studio would die. :(
I am using this survey as a way to gauge interest.
I value everyone's thoughts and ideas. I wanna hear it all - good, bad and ugly!
